An image of two guys kissing has been a staple in my work for the past seven or eight years. Int was one of the first images I used for screen printing, and it has become somewhat of a signature image for me.

This version of it, “Kiss Yellow Nine” came into being while I was working on a mixed media work. I was looking for a yellow image to use in a grid pattern, and I played with the kiss image towards that end. In that work, the individual squares are wheat pasted onto a much larger work, in a quilt pattern style, but they were printed on one larger square. As the image was flat and drying post-printing, I realized how much I liked it as is. It has a very pop-art feeling about it.The yellow is bright and bold!

This image is available as either Fine Art images or as poster images, in three sizes. The difference is the quality of the paper. Fine Art prints use a acid-free, museum archival quality cotton rag paper. The poster prints use a thinner high quality proofing paper.The inks are the same for both- color-fast museum quality pigment based ink. For framable work however, I recommend the museum quality archival paper for the richest colors and appearance.
