This is one of my favorite pieces created last year. The base image is one I’ve used a lot and love. I wanted a small square image in yellow, for a mixed media work, and that prompted me to begin playing with the image and yellow. I found that printing out the smaller images this way, produced a really fun pop art image! And this work was born. The yellow is bright and strong and looks fresh, even while harkening back to a pop art era.
